Andy Goldsworthy is an artist from Scotland that makes art entirely out of what he finds in nature. He simply goes out, unknowing of what he will find and creates amazing pieces, never using man made materials.
Last week in my 4D design class we were assigned to go out into nature and "pull an Andy Goldsworthy". So,
Christine Fuchs and I (whom i am sure will post her pictures on her blog soon) went out to Weir Canyon and spent our morning in nature, creating art.
Interestingly enough, as i was searching around for material to work with, i found a dead bird. Yes, a freshly deceased, unscathed bird. (i think it got electrocuted from the power lines above) I simply HAD to use it in my project.
